I started apprenticing for a close family friend, who is like a second father to me, with his son, who is like a brother, when I was the age of twelve. I started as all tile apprentices do by carrying water and rinsing sponges. I worked weekends and summer holidays until I graduated high school. I then continued full time for Inxs Tile until I broke away on my own. A few years later, I chose a change of scenery and joined the Canadian Armed Forces for five years of service. Toward the end of my military career, I began doing projects after work and on weekends for friends and family. It was then I realized my true calling was to be a tile setter. I received a phone call one evening from my father proposing the concept of purchasing Inxs Tile. I jumped at the opportunity and, a few short months later, my wife and I were back in Vancouver and I am back in my trade. I take extreme pride in the work this company produces and stay up-to-date on the most recent materials and systems.
